Metajoint is a formulated and retarded gypsum hemihydrate jointing plaster. Metajoint complies to the Standard DIN EN 13279-1 Category C6: Thin coat finishing product.

Compressive strength: 2.5 -3.5 N/mm’ (DIN EN 13279-2)
Flexural strength: 2.0-3.0 N/ nm’ (DIN EN 13279-2)
Bound Moisture: 2.5-3.2%
Pot life of mixed plaster: 60 -80 minutes
Initial set: Cement needle test 90 -105 minutes (DIN EN 13279-2)
Final set: Cement needle test 120 -140 minutes (DIN EN 13279-2)
Typical drying time on board 4 -6 hours

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

Water I Plaster ratio: 0.45 -0.50
Add 20 kg METAJOINT to 9-10 litres of water
Allow to soak for 5 minutes
Mix until lump-free to a smooth paste

APPLICATION DETAILS

Water I powder: 45 -50 ml water /100 g plaster
Application surfaces:
Apply to clean surfaces of drywall gypsum board and ceilings.
Cover joint with self-adhesive mesh fabric
Sprinkle water onto the surface
Apply METAJOINT onto the surface with a steel trowel.
Apply 2 coats if necessary, allowing product to set between applications.
After complete drying, sand to desired finish
Do not mix more METAJOINT than you can use in 60 minutes.

CLEANING:

Clean all tools thoroughly with water before mixing the next batch

20 kg bags.
10 kg buckets

STORAGE:

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sun and humidity.
